Ralph Purtell is the chairman and manager of Purtell Vinyl Consulting, LLC, a central Florida based corporation, formed in September 2016.

Ralph earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University; located in Philadelphia, PA. In 2016, he retired from Mexichem Specialty Resins, Inc, after spending 37 years in the PVC resin industry with Mexichem Specialty Resins, Inc, and its predecessors which include PolyOne, The Geon Company and BFGoodrich.  During his PVC resin career, his duties included resin manufacturing, technical service, domestic and international sales and product management and marketing.  While his career primarily involved Specialty Resins for plastisol and powder coating applications, he became involved in various Specialty S-PVC resin applications in the last several years of his career.
