Since 2014, Lou Brandewiede has been with custom compounder Aurora Plastics in Streetsboro Oh and now serves Aurora in his current role as Director of Technology- Rigid PVC leading efforts in technical service and R&D for new product development including CPVC, rigid PVC composite, and specialty weatherable cap stocks to name a few.

Prior to joining Aurora Lou spent 10 years with Lubrizol Advance Materials’ Estane® TPU division as an applications development scientist supporting a variety of markets.  Lou has held various other technical and commercial roles with Valtris, Dow(former Morton) and Emery Oleochemicals since 1985.

Lou has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Cincinnati
