Tom Drye
Vice President Emerging Markets & Innovation

Tom Drye is Vice President of Emerging Markets & Innovation for TechmerPM. (TPM)  TechmerPM is a materials design and solutions provider of custom engineered compounds and color & additive masterbatch.  Tom has been with the company since 2005.  His career in custom engineered plastics spans more than 35 years.  Before joining Techmer, Tom held various positions with LNP and GE Plastics in: R&D, technology, manufacturing, QA, and sales.  As Managing Director for the Techmer Engineered Solutions division of TPM, formerly known as TES and now fully integrated into the TechmerPM company, Tom helped launch Techmer into his expertise field of engineered compounds, and was responsible for all aspects of the business, 

Tom’s main focus is on new markets, innovations, and strategy where TechmerPM materials knowledge can expand the use of custom designed masterbatch and compounds.  Additive Manufacturing (3D), another area Tom launched at Techmer, is one such space which is enjoying tremendous success via benefits of engineering materials specifically designed for this process.  Tom is a member of the Executive Leadership Team for TechmerPM, served on Board of Directors for IACMI, Chairman of the IACMI Financial Sustainability Committee, and member of National Science Foundation Advisory Committee on large scale additive manufacturing.
