Dr. Lifeng Chen is a Principal Scientist at U.S. Silica, responsible for developing new products for the Industrial and Specialty Products division. He has over a decade of experience in particle and polymer synthesis, characterization, and their composite materials compounding. For the last six months he has been developing performance-enhancing products for a range of markets including the thermoplastics industry. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Shandong University and a Ph.D. from Clarkson University in Chemistry.
