Chris Roland is a chemist with extensive experience in organic/polymer synthesis, catalysis, and surface chemistry. He began his career at the University of Florida, working in organometallics and cyclic polymer synthesis and characterization. From there he headed to Los Alamos National Lab as a post doc, developing novel infinitely recyclable polymer replacements. His professional career lead him to Richmond, VA, where he worked in R&D for a nylon 6 producer before joining Evonik in the beginning of 2023.
