Prism Worldwide produces and markets performance oriented, sustainable polymers derived from end-of-life tire rubber. Prism recently acquired CRC Polymer systems, a supplier of compounds, resins, and colors. The joining of forces between Prism and CRC creates a synergy where we can use the clean technology created by Prism and take it to the next level with CRC’s compounding expertise to better serve the multiple industries with sustainable and circular solutions.
Prism was founded on the principle that there should be a better use for end-of-life (ELT) tires. We recognize that to solve this long-standing issue we need solutions that provide performance-oriented products, and this requires that we address the problem differently.
Prism’s patented technology brings performance-oriented polymer grades derived from end-of-life tire rubber to a broad range of applications, include TPE and rubber applications (Ancoraä ), polymer modification applications (Ennovaä ) and polymers for asphalt modification (ViaTecä ). By offering performance-oriented solutions we are Making Tires More Circularä.
CRC produces performance-oriented polymer compound grades for a broad range of applications, including impact resistant clarified polypropylene (Carbelene CL), mineralized compounds offered as an alternative for engineering resins (Carbelene MC), wood reinforced polymers for structural and aesthetic applications (Barkolene) and high clarity polymers with excellent fire and chemical resistance (TriFax).
Together, Prism Worldwide and CRC Polymer Systems supply our customers with sustainable performance-oriented products to meet their needs and reduce environmental impact.
